The world-renowned Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will once again host the only national, industry supported auto show from 31 August – 2 September 2018, presented by Wesbank. The Festival of Motoring promises to be even bigger and better in 2018!
The highly successful 2017 show focused on interactive motoring experiences for all visitors, with over 57,000 people attending the show. This year, the show will provide a plethora of interactive motoring entertainment and will include additional lifestyle, education and family-friendly activities for a more comprehensive motoring experience.
The classic cars and legendary motorsport drivers will again be a major drawcard with a focus on cars that can tell a unique story. From motoring fanatics to families looking for a fun day out, there is a motoring experience waiting for you.
Visitors can expect even more new car launches, self-drive options, supercars on the track as well as the entertaining 4×4 area. With the focus on interactive experiences, the self-drive activities will now be available all day, every day, at the central handling track, as well as the 4×4 course. Some additions to look forward to include plane fly-overs, double the amount of pit doors, a wine garden, racing on the track, and amongst others, Round 7 of the Sasol GTC Championship. The show will also focus on edutainment and new technology with the daily Tech Talks, with AutoTrader, where industry thought-leaders will discuss all the latest trends, technologies and improvements.
The Festival of Motoring promises to live up to its build as the leading interactive motoring event in the Southern Hemisphere, endorsed by NAAMSA and supported by leading OEMs to showcase the best that the South African motoring industry have to offer.
